Danish Craftsmanship To Perfection

Since the 1950’s iconic Danish designers like Arne Jacobsen, Børge Mogensen and Finn Juhl have pioneered a unique design that effortlessly merges simplicity and exclusivity. Their contribution to Danish design culture has fashioned instantly recognizable bestsellers with wide international appeal. Additionally, designers Jacobsen, Mogensen and Juhl alike have shaped the Danish and Scandinavian design movement to reflect a sense of social democracy that provides beautifully crafted designs – available to everyone.

Our work with wood originates from this quintessential heritage in Danish design tradition, where we strive to uphold the same quality and craftsmanship synonymous with the 1950’s.

Once the raw wood arrives at our warehouses and production sites in Denmark, it undergoes a variety of extra quality checks, and if the raw wood turns out not to live up to our expectations and requirements it is discarded. Our proud production principles build on a unique combination of craftsmanship and high technologies, which, to us, is the only viable way for the wood to convert into a genuinely high quality Fredsted floor.
